A Fate of Dragons (Book 3 in the Sorcerer's Ring) takes us deeper into Thor's epic journey to becoming a warrior, as he journeys across the Sea of Fire to the dragon's Isle of Mist. An unforgiving place, home to the most elite warriors of the world, Thor's powers and abilities deepen as he trains. His friendships deepen, too, as they face adversities together, beyond what they could imagine. But as they find themselves up against unimaginable monsters. The Hundred quickly goes from training session to a matter of life or death. Not all will survive.

What would have made A Fate of Dragons better?

The fate of dragons would have been improved if the whole series felt more cohesive in the world building.

What was most disappointing about Morgan Rice’s story?

As part of a series this book seems to have no beginning or end. very unsatifying

How did the narrator detract from the book?

THe narrator read the Title of the Book Wrong!!!!! He called it feast instead of fate.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Fate of Dragons?

I would have made the whole dragon scene seem more "realistic". When readers suspend belief for a fantasy book the reader does not suspend common sense.

Star Force is called to arms again! Outcast is a new beginning, the first book in a new spin-off series. Many peaceful years have passed since the Macro Wars ended. Most of those who fought against the heartless machines have aged - but not the ingenious artificial construct known as Marvin. His insatiable curiosity is as strong as ever, and he’s brought home fresh perils to humanity’s doorstep.

This book feels like both a reboot and a sequel. It was enjoyable and opens an entirely new chapter in the Star Force Universe. I look forward to many more to come.

Where does Wet Desert rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was one of the most thought provoking novels I have read in a while.

    Any additional comments?

I consider myself a conservationist and believe that most people that label themselves as evironmentalists are a bit on the radical side. I am a strong believer in being a good steward of the resources that God has given us. Now that you know where I am coming from I want you to know that I loved the book and it gave me a lot to think about. If you are an environmentalist you should read the book. If you are a conservationist you should read the book. If you care a lick about taking care of our world you should read the book!

This book is not Al Gore end of the world preaching. It is not alarmist nor radical. But it is VERY thought provoking.

Stretched to his limit, Tamas is relying heavily on his few remaining powder mages, including the embittered Taniel, a brilliant marksman who also happens to be his estranged son, and Adamat, a retired police inspector whose loyalty is being tested by blackmail. But when gods are involved.... Now, as attacks batter them from within and without, the credulous are whispering about omens of death and destruction. Just old peasant legends about the gods waking to walk the earth. No modern educated man believes that sort of thing. But they should....

If you could sum up Empire in three words, what would they be?

    Action, fun action

    It never slowed down.

Which character – as performed by Mark Boyett – was your favorite?

The little robot marvin is funny insightful and a great addition to the story.
