Ethan Abbatt is a wolf shifter who can't shift. Plagued by pain and weakness all his life, he hopes to find an honorable death by joining his pack mates in a vampire attack. Instead, Ethan learns two things: draining his blood releases his pain and his wolf, and he has a true mate - a vampire named Miguel. Miguel Rodriguez is more than four centuries old. Strong, powerful, and vicious, he walks through life as a shadow, without happiness or affection.

    Ren says: "Ooooh, gory sex!!"

If you could sum up Until Forever Comes in three words, what would they be?

    Love defeats all

What was one of the most memorable moments of Until Forever Comes?

The most memorable moment was when Miguel tore through chains just to get to Ethan because he smelled his blood and thought someone had hurt him.

Have you listened to any of Charlie David’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to him before. I like him. I like the way he really brings out the personality in a character. He's not choppy or pausing for unknown reasons. He's consistent and has a way of really using his tonality to distinguish among the characters in any story he narrates.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Until Forever Comes

    Any additional comments?

This book is awesome. I loved listening to it. In fact, this series is what has made me actually consider reading Cardeno C's other works. The way the alpha male surprises you. He's strong, loving, protective but he has his own set of "needs" that would make a lesser man appear weak but simply makes him so much more. The yin to his yang is no weakling either. He may be smaller, but he has honest courage. He's frightened and willing to admit it but wants nothing more than to protect his man. The passion between them? You may need to pull to the side of the road. Just saying. Whew!

I also like the way the women are portrayed. Not weak, not overly dynamic but varied, no carbon copies.

The story is alive and once you're done, you will want to play it again.

From the moment former LAPD detective Bobby Dawson spots Ichiro Tokugawa, he knows the man is trouble. And not just because the much younger Japanese inker is hot, complicated, and pushes every one of Bobby's buttons. No, Ichi is trouble because he's Cole McGinnis' younger brother and off-limits in every possible way. And Bobby knows that even before Cole threatens to kill him for looking Ichi's way. But despite his gut telling him Ichi is bad news, Bobby can't stop looking...or wanting.

Ingela says: "Charming fun, Bobby is a favorite."

This book! To finally have Bobby's story! I absolutely cheered at the end! The writing is superb, the sense of place perfectly depicted! I was there! Rhys Ford is a master of language, layering each moment, each interaction with such detail that you have no choice but to become a part of the story, to know these characters and love them, to almost despair when you have to let them go. She is a gift.

    Down and Dirty? Magnificent!

Weber Yates's dreams of stardom are about to be reduced to a ranch hand’s job in Texas, and his one relationship is with a guy so far out of his league he might as well be on the moon. Or at least in San Francisco, where Weber stops to see him one last time before settling down to the humble, lonely life he figures a frog like him has coming.

Riva says: "Ah Weber, if only . . ."

The narrator is absolute perfection, the story passionate. Mary Calmes is one of my favorite authors. Now, Kelly will be one of my favorite narrators. Beautiful fit. The rumbles, the tumbles, the sensuality, the need, the innocence all wrapped up and ready for you to listen. It's a gift shared by two talented people. It's yours.

Where does The Keeper rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This books ranks among the top for me. It is well thought out, unusual in its storytelling. The character in the book may give others halt, but if you take it for the beautiful fiction that it is, you will enjoy it.

What other book might you compare The Keeper to and why?

I have no other book to compare this to. The main character is strong and powerful but so very humble.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The return is my favorite.

Who was the most memorable character of The Keeper and why?

If I mention the name, it will give away the story.

    Any additional comments?

    Be openminded.
