In 81 brief chapters, Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, or Book of the Way, provides advice that imparts balance and perspective, as well as a serene and generous spirit. It teaches us how to work for the good with the effortless skill that comes from being in accord with the Tao: the basic principle of the universe.

Jason says: "Wonderful translation and reading, but..."
    "Relaxing Listen"
    Overall

Listening to Tao wisdom any faster, would lose the point of what is being spoken. This audio book was the right speed and authors voice is easy on the ears. Many of the translations are easy to understand and give you plenty to contemplate.

We have seen the enemy . . . and they are small. If anyone understands why children behave the way they do, it's psychologist and best-selling author Dr. Kevin Leman. Equipping you with seven principles of Reality Discipline, this father of five shows you how to get kids to do what you want them to do, foil finicky eaters, turn off temper tantrums, and minimize sibling rivalries, use authority and decisiveness to show your kids you're not a pushover, and know when to take the little buzzards by the beak.

Amber says: "Life Saver for you and your kid!"
"Great for basic advice on keeping your cool"
    Overall

If you get frustrated easily or yell a lot, the advice in this book will help give you some ideas on how to stay focused and calm in the various situations that are all to common with the littles. I borrowed this audio book from the library first and decided to have it in my audio library to refresh when needed (I mean all the time).
