Having sold millions of copies in print, Bernard Evslin’s classic retelling of the Greek myths captures the excitement and enchantment of these stories that have influenced many of today’s popular films and novels. Easy to understand and fun to read for both adults and children, it is no wonder this book has been taught in schools all over the world.

I always have been so intrigued by Greek mythology and wanted to learn more about it. This audio is perfect anyone who is being introduced to the myths, or wanting to learn more. It really gives so much explanation of how the tree is structured. The narrator truly gave life to each word, each tale. This is a book that must be read and or listened to.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Carl Weber is a New York Times best-selling author who’s made a name for himself with wildly entertaining works marked by his trademark wit and storytelling panache. In The Choir Director, Bishop T.K. Wilson is banking on dynamic new choir director Anthony Mackie to reverse the failing congregation’s fortunes. But while Anthony’s got more than enough chops to raise a heavenly chorus, he’s also got a weakness for the ladies that could make the Devil himself stand up and take notice.

What did you like best about The Choir Director? What did you like least?

What I like most was how there was such a tangle of situations going on w/in the story that it always kept the reader on their toes. What I like least about it was that sometimes Symone was predictable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Choir Director?

When Symone went to the meeting to cause havoc for Tia by bringing such disturbing news to the meeting.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I loved how each narrator was able to show so much difference in some of the various characters they had to portray along w/ their main character. What I liked least about the perfumes was that sometimes if seemed as if the narrators were reading their rolls instead of giving performances.

If you could sum up Up to No Good in three words, what would they be?

    LIVE LOVE LAUGH

Who was your favorite character and why?

James, He kept me laughing as he went thru his sexscapedes. Although he was a womanizer, he was true example of a pure hearted father. He also showed that it's never too late to change for the better.

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Karen Pitman, Her performance seemed like it was more of a spoiled brat vs the other her performance which came across as one you didn't want to mess w/ her. Both were outstanding

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh YES. To many times I almost missed my transportation or wanted to postpone what I had planned.
