The print version was better only because I liked the sound of Kid's voice in my head better than the narrator's attempt.
I like Bear the most because of the voices in his head that he argues with. I can relate.
I didn't really care for Ty or Otters voices. I liked Creed and Bear. He portrays emotion really well
The fight for him is all he's ever known...
I Would like to hear the next book.
This is my favorite SB book. I listen or read this book every year and I still find it sexy and amusing. I liked the narrator although he could use some work on his female voices he did a great job with the anti-hero. I thought it was a great dynamic between the 2 MCs. There is one line that always makes me cringe and I wish they could have changed it for the audiobook as it sounds even worse outloud. But like I said it's my favorite.
So, first off the story is good, but the narrator is better. He brought the story to life. Sometimes its hard for me to differentiate between characters when listening to audiobooks but I had no problem this time. When there are similar accents they can often blur together but Tristan James did an excellent job without having to identify each person speaking. I put him in the same category as Scott Brick who is always a delight to listen to.
The way the relationship developed between criminal and fbi guy.
Danny. He was a refreshingly honest about his actions although he had a hard time moving past them.
Different narrator. He doesn't inflect properly. It sounds like he's just reading the book instead of becoming the characters. Shannon Gunn or Chris Patton would of been better.
Yes. I listen at work
It was better as a read because the narrator's voice was so monotone and boring.
Kellan. He was the most interesting character and I like sensitive rockstars. Kiera was so flakey and indecisive, I wanted to smack her.
Although I don't care for abridged books, this was one that could stand to be cut down a little.
You have to read this to get a baseline of the main characters, but it was very predictable and at sometimes juvenile behavior of a professional FBI or profiler was ridiculous. If you read Karin Slaughter or Linda Fairstein type books (which I do) you might get annoyed. But I urge you to keep reading the series. It gets better with each book!
This was ok. Slow going
When Ty and Zane beat the crap out of each other
Stick with it if you love the characters. The plots aren't really complicated or engaging. Its all about Ty and Zane
I loved the interactions between Ty and Zane! Its great to see in every book how far their relationship has progressed. Its so typical guy. I like that we have two strong gay males instead of the typical macho/twink combo in a lot of mm books. The mystery/plot is an afterthought to me because its Ty and Zane that I'm interested in. Although this isnt blatant erotica, there is still plenty of hot, hot sex!
Yes! Ty and Zane, baby!
Yes. Its pretty much what I expected-hes good
Yes I did lots of laughing due to Ty's bluntness and there were some tears of joy and sadness
When are the next books going to audio? I really can't wait for Armed and Dangerous. It love reading but hearing the characters outloud is fun
