This was not necessarily that interesting a case. This could of been done in 2-3 hours. Instead there was a lot of unnecessary filler. The case is technically ongoing as one of the original suspects may still be charged. Ann should of waited this case out or should of written about a more interesting case.
I did not follow the case in the news so i thought i would buy the audio book. Was very informative but the narrator was very annoying in her halting voice. The author was very biased but that is understandable being that this case was no way a "whodunit".
I love time travel but this was not my type of story. The narrator was excellent though.
I was a teenager when the hijacking epidemic occurred and I forgot that it was that prevalent. Back then just like it is to a degree today, the airlines, if they are not forced to do something in the name of safety, will not do it if it will cost them money.
Both this audiobook and the movie are great, but if you have the choice, listen or read the book first before watching the movie.
This is a great example of the corrupt politicians sacrificing this brave crew of the Pueblo for their own benefit. I could see the current North Korea regime doing the same thing today.
I can see this being a tv series on the sci fi channel
The book was great until the silly unbelievable ending.
I actually live nearby where Shiela and her husband lived. The author had some minor location errors but the story was easy to follow. The only issue was if you had no idea who the killer was when you started the book, this was given to you by the author very early on. This book I believe is probably purchased mostly by the locals in the various communities or people that were directly involved in the case. Guys (and girls) watch out who you become involved with !
I actually liked this book. I am a trivia fan by heart and like the old retro products that never made it. I found myself googling the failed ideas after the chapters. Great value for the money.
A great patriotic true story. Better than any comparable fiction. Makes you proud to be an American!
