Great addition to the series but, if you don't like cliff hangers, wait for book 6 first.

Entertaining story that continues the adventures of Alex, Aaron and all the people of Quill.

Keep up the good work. I anxiously await books 6 and 7.

Vicious interstellar conflict with an indestructible alien species. Bloody civil war over the last habitable zones of the cosmos. Political unrest, militaristic police forces, dire threats to the solar system.

    Story

The story is well written and a good read. A fitting part 2 with lots of twists and turns. I could still do without all the extreme swearing and wish more authors would skip adding unless words just to sound tough. The storywould not have suffered if it had been excluded.

But the story is well put together and riveting. I am anxious for book 3

The year is 2108, and the North American Commonwealth is bursting at the seams. For welfare rats like Andrew Grayson, there are only two ways out of the crime-ridden and filthy welfare tenements, where you’re restricted to 2,000 calories of badly flavored soy every day. You can hope to win the lottery and draw a ticket on a colony ship settling off-world, or you can join the service. With the colony lottery a pipe dream, Andrew chooses to enlist in the armed forces for a shot at real food, a retirement bonus, and maybe a ticket off Earth.

    Story

For a first novel this was well done. I would have liked it better if the F-bomb wasn't dropped every page or so, but it is military. Though I have read many military stories that didn't need the constant swearing.

This is a fun story about a messed up planet and a kid's hope to break free.

I enjoyed the world of pain, sorrow, humour, friendship and humanity. I will finally be going on to book two.

Seventy years ago, the interstellar supercarrier Ark Royal was the pride of the Royal Navy. But now, her weapons are outdated and her solid-state armour nothing more than a burden on her colossal hull. She floats in permanent orbit near Earth, a dumping ground for the officers and crew the Royal Navy wishes to keep out of the public eye. But when a deadly alien threat appears, the modern starships built by humanity are no match for the powerful alien weapons.

    Story

I am tired of getting stuck with porn laced fiction.

The story was reasonable but I kept getting stuck with filth. The relationship in question could have been written without the filth and should have been.

The story was a little slow. not as much alien kick butt action as I expected but what was there was reasonable. Though I was amazed how much of the story was one group running away from the other.

The narrator read very slow. even at 2x playback it sometimes felt like a crawl.

I will not bother with the rest of the series.

If there’s such a thing as luck, Lily Harper definitely doesn’t have it. Killed in a car accident before it’s her time to go, Lily learns that the hereafter isn’t exactly what she hoped it might be. First, there’s AfterLife Enterprises, the company responsible for sorting out the recently dead and sending them on their way to the Kingdom, (aka happily ever after,) or to the Underground City, (not so happily ever after.)

I am sick of books that insist on filling their pages with vulgarity that detracts from the story. This book COULD have been good if the author had kept things cleaner.

The so-called guardian angel was horrid and could only provide vulgar one liners instead of any useful content.

The story idea is a good one, but I just could not stand the constant flow of filth.

It's a simple story. Boy finds proof that reality is a computer program. Boy uses program to manipulate time and space. Boy gets in trouble. Boy flees back in time to Medieval England to live as a wizard while he tries to think of a way to fix things. Boy gets in more trouble. Oh, and boy meets girl at some point.

A simple, fluff filled story that will entertain and bring a smile to your face over and over again. It is better off you are a computer programmer, a geek, or just into computer history, but it is funny even if your are not.

Clean humour is hard to find, but that is exactly what this book provides.

What if the Shadow that destroyed Atlantis 10,000 years ago, comes back to threaten our present world? A war beyond time. An enemy beyond space. A thriller beyond your wildest dreams. Three areas on the Earth's surface defy explanation: the Bermuda Triangle, the Devil's Sea of Japan, and a small region of Cambodia. Inside these realms, planes have disappeared, ships have vanished, and, in Cambodia, an entire civilization has been lost leaving behind Angkor Wat....

Where does Atlantis: Devil's Sea rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story is pretty good. Though I think that things are changing how they work from book 1 until now. But still not too bad.

The one complaint I will make is that the audio editing was done fairly poorly. There are several times where the reader goes back and re-read words or phrases in, what seems to be, an attempt to improve the reading. But then the editor did not remove the first reading. So you hear the same things twice several times throughout the book. This needs to be resolved.

    **** SPOILERS ****

OK. Maybe I just don't get "adult" sci-fi. But this book kinds just drug on with no read direction. There were so many mini stories in the book that I had a hard time keeping up with all of them.

There is so lottle to go off of for the first few chapters that I had no clue that we were talking about so many different races and trying to keep up with which race was which was a pain.

Then to get to the end and find out that we were not going to get ANY resolution was a massive letdown. No resolution on anything. What is going on under water? Who is this mystery man and what's up with his head? Who are the visitors and then the newer visitors?

The story got more interesting about half way through the book, but I doubt the series is worth getting the next two just to find some form of closure.

In a compelling, story-driven narrative, the Heaths bring together decades of counterintuitive research in psychology, sociology, and other fields to shed new light on how we can effect transformative change. Switch shows that successful changes follow a pattern, a pattern you can use to make the changes that matter to you, whether your interest is in changing the world or changing your waistline.

This book is filled with good example of what we can each do to take control of the changes we need to make. Well worth the read and something that should probably be read several times.
