Pleasant background music, great affirmations - good start for those of us who have trouble "thinking up" our own affirmations.
There is a nice little section that relates to self love that I enjoyed.
Yes I have. I think this is comparable to others I have listened to. I like the way she gives the affirmations with I and You.
It's just a very nice listen to start a day on an upbeat or to soothe yourself down from the end of the day.
I have yet to find another author's who inspires me so much.
Absolutely, because I just simply would not be able to read this book. I need the audio because I can then listen during drives and while working.
Bringing Jake back into the story. I love that boy!
Yes - always a wonderful performance!
Roland and Jake's struggle to reconcile their doubled timelines.
This whole series is awesome, made much easier to enjoy because it's in audio format.
ABSOLUTELY! Hearing Louise's voice is always wonderful.
Her encouraging voice is always pleasant and soothing to listen to. Dry reading would just not be the same.
Well worth listening to!!
Hilarious, memorable, original.
Stanley the Magical Squirrel and the raccoon story.
I couldn't imagine anyone else could deliver her story with such feeling and humor!
There is nothing I can say that will compare to the actual experience of the book. But I enjoyed it from start to finish, like it so much I bought the Kindle book also.
It ranks pretty close to the top for it's originality.
Yes and this was a fast paced book with great twists and excitement.
I have - he is always, always fantastic - he is so great with his delivery of characters. This one is as great as his other readings.
Yes because there is no way I could ever read this book. I tried several times over the years but the series seemed so daunting that I just gave up trying. I am glad the audio version is available because I have really enjoyed the series.
I have never read any books that I can compare to this one.
Excellent altogether! He livens up the story and gives it depth and form.
Roland might have been interesting at this point in the series - he's less developed.
Absolutely would recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about Gregg Allman. My spouse knew some of the folks with the Allman Brothers band and knew most of this history. He was curious how much Gregg would put out there and in my spouse's opinion, Gregg really put it ALL out there.
I shared listening to this with my husband and we enjoyed just talking about the book together. It's just funny and sad and all those things that happen in a real person's life.
No, but he did a great job with this reading and sounded very similar to Gregg.
When he talks about his attempts to reconcile with his children and does so honestly and sometimes it is heartbreaking - but real.
It very effective and Rick Hanson has a great soothing voice and clear direction.
Just being able to follow the directions and feel an immediate relief of stress...makes it a lot easier to get through a stressful work day.
No, but look forward to getting others by this author.
Anyone suffering from stress on a regular basis can probably benefit from this audio.
Enthralling, well-written, engaging.
I find this series to be unique, I have not listened to or read anything like the Dark Tower series.
AWESOME!! I wish he was reading the whole series.
Odetta/Detta/Susannah - I can't imagine how fun that might be!
I have always liked Stephen King's writing..but avoided this series because it seemed so daunting - listening to this in audiobook format is great and has opened a new wonderful experience.
Great story, well dramatized by Keith Szarabajka!
He did such a great job with pace and changing of voices - overall just well delivered.
I have been impressed by Koontz's grasp of human psychology. He is not afraid to look into and invite us to look into the human mind. From slightly crass humor to deeply touching insights - Koontz covers the whole gamut.
