Yes it is good. If u like Christine Feehan, Sherilyn Kenyon, and books in that genre u will love this. I had read J.R. Ward b4 and didn't like the book but it was a different series full of gangs and slang and rap music references bleh .....This has those but not in excess.

A tale of the distant future by the author of The Shape-Changer's Wife brings listeners to a world in which the fate of all life rests on the voice of an angel.

Paul says: "A great story, narrrated well"

There is no point to this story the idea while great fell flat in the telling. With sulky self centered characters and no development. They were two dimensional. I hope the author warms up to her subject in the next book or I won't finish the series

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about - his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. Vin diPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that - until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking Harley-riding, self-professed savior.

Succubus (n.) An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men. Pathetic (adj.) A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid. When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical? But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic.

Jessica says: "Another great paranormal series!"

I liked it it was light reading requiring no deep thoughts. Entertaining if u read this book expect it to be superfluous don't go into it looking for depth. It is a good tale with an interesting cast of characters

I spent half this book going crazy with the pure arrogance and selfishness of the little spoiled brat. Her stupidity is mind goggling. I just don't know what to say. I am still reading the next one though. Shhh don't tell anyone.

    Overall

This is a ghost story... A story of prophecy and betrayal the hero/heroine is badly damaged. All the characters in this story are stumbling around blindly just as they should be gone are the days of omnipotent wizards and silly intervening gods. Dragons are where they belong in the books about them. I love fantasy in all it's forms. Especially dragons fairies vampires and werewolves...... This is a ghost story. I absolutely love it. It captured me I have only one complaint ... Where is my emphatic character? I can't identify with anyone in the story.

I was dubious after reading the reviews but I am a true fantasy reader in all its forms. That being said I like the hopeless situation that Hobb has placed the characters in, the unknown of the auxiliary characters, there is no tralala everything is wonderful in this book actually the plot though fantastical is peopled with realistic characters no perfect good or evil. Another thing is Flosnik is very easy to listen to and after a while she allows u to "hear" ur characters. I actually am looking forward to the next book.
