I chose this book based on the narrator. I am a big Therese Plummer fan! This book was an excellent listen and left me wanting more. I am on book 5 of the series and it hasn't let me down. Give this a try, you wont regret it!
I felt like there was a lot of stale time in the book, There was too little time spent in the lab where we all know Scarpetta is at her best.
I'm not very fond of Patricia Cornwell's new stuff. Scarpetta does't have the same drive and spunk and the stories aren't as detailed. I'm moving on for now.
The male voices are a bit forced, but not cad otherwise.
Yes! Jay Snyder is so incredible! He captures every accent, every emotion, male, female, etc. You always know whos talking and can feel the excitement!
There were so many. The scene on the lake had me gripping my seat!
EVERYTHING! He didn't miss a beat as usual.
I did laugh, no crying but it did make my heart race a more then once.
This series is exceptional! I seriously hope there is more to come.
Loved the vivid detail from human and animal perspective
You begin to root for the characters as the story progresses. Maggie steals your heart
There are too many good scenes to name but watching the realationship between animal and human was very compelling.
Mans best friend
I would. He did a surprisingly good job of the men and women's voices and making sure you always knew who was talking.
I love Nora Roberts but this book could not compare to the Witness or Montana Sky which I consider her bests.
He captures the unique voices and feelings if each character.
No. There really isn't that much action. This is just an easy listen if you're looking to pass the time.
I hope Nora Roberts gets back to her greats like northern lights. This book didn't feel very well thought out to me. I enjoyed it but would not listen to it again like I've done with many of her books.
For light and easy reading, it was a great book
I liked the little decorating and cooking ideas from the blog thrown into the storyline of her terrible divorce
Probably when they were all sitting around teliing what they did to their exes
Ballistic, thrilling, action
The Grey Man of course. He is a rough and rugged killer with a kind heart. Also, in my head he is sexy as hell :)
Gentry. He has an amazing voice and is able to put the proper inflection on the more humorous parts in the book
I think Ballistic would be the perfect movie title
This is by far the best of the 3 Grey Man books. Court Gentry doesn't dissapoint
at the top. I was hooked from the beginning
I really can't compare it to anything. It's a great book, the story gets you from the beginning and keep you interested. The ending is something you don't see coming ang doesn't let you down.
This is the first I've heard of his. He nailed every accent.
If you are looking for a book in this genre then yes, it was a good choice. I just decided half way through that I was over erotic books
I'm turned off from other books in the genre but not because of this book. Its actually one of the better ones
The reading was great.
Yes, if you are into this genre, this book is a good listen
Not at the very top but this story really kept me interested. Different clue took different twists through the story.
The most interesting was when she visited the prison. That really kept me on edge. The least interesting was Cindy's dating life,
Jeremy Piven was born to do this. His voice was entrancing and I thought fit the character very well. Melissa Leo was OK but I could never tell which woman was speaking. I wish they would have used the first narrator again.
I can't tell, it would give too much away
Erotic, Fantasy, Sexual
The fist "Love" scene
Less valley girl inflection
Yes, but this is because I was waiting for something super exciting to happen, and it never did! This book was on Dr. Phil for crying out loud. I just don't understand what all the hype is. It's no different or more discriptive then any of erotic fantasy book.
I will not be downloading the next two books. I really don't care what happens, Now that I've discovered that there is nothing extremely special about this book. Kudos to the publicist for all the media hype!
