Would you consider the audio edition of The Girl of Fire and Thorns to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version.

What other book might you compare The Girl of Fire and Thorns to and why?

I do not think I can really compare it to another book, but the story line was a little of something I have read before.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It took me about two days to get through, so yes.

Deep in the stacks of Oxford's Bodleian Library, young scholar Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up a bewitched alchemical manuscript in the course of her research. Descended from an old and distinguished line of witches, Diana wants nothing to do with sorcery; so after a furtive glance and a few notes, she banishes the book to the stacks. But her discovery sets a fantastical underworld stirring, and a horde of daemons, witches, and vampires soon descends upon the library.

    Any additional comments?

I love the combination of fairytale and science fiction the Meyer intertwines together! I was not expecting to be so engrossed in the story. I started playing it to have something to listen to while folding laundry one night and then the next thing I knew I had finished it the following day and found myself downloading and listening to Scarlet! Great read!

In this third audiobook in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth. Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl trapped on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she's being forced to work for Queen Levana, and she's just received orders to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages - not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color.

Would you consider the audio edition of Daughter of Smoke and Bone to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version, but I would definitely purchase it just to have this book and it's companions in my personal library.

What did you like best about this story?

I love they way Laini wrote this story...it was like nothing I have ever read and was not what I was expecting. I love the witty humor and tender sweetness between the characters. I love the world that she created and how she combined both mythical and mundane pasts and present. It was fantastic!
