New York Times best-selling author Linda Lael Miller has earned a large and growing following for her wildly popular novels starring the Creeds and the McKettricks. As her many fans will attest, no one brings cowboys - and their affairs of the heart - to life in quite the way she does. With the author’s signature style, Big Sky Country delivers a scintillating tale that you will not want to miss.

What did you love best about Big Sky Country?

It is a believable escape with the right amount of detail.

What did you like best about this story?

By the end of the story I felt like I had been to this town and knew the people.

What about Jack Garrett’s performance did you like?

He never distracted from the story.

    Any additional comments?

This book did a good job of introducing me to a new setting and new characters without getting bogged down in description. Once I got to the end I bought the rest of the available books in the series.

Christy Nelson embarks on her new career in Real Estate by holding her first open house, at the wrong house, by accident, where she finds the nude sleeping body of a man. Navy SEAL Kyle Lansdowne, on a mission to find his missing Team buddy, is staying at his buddy's home while investigating the disappearance. When someone breaks in, he takes protective measures. He doesn't expect to find that a beautiful young woman is responsible for his teammate's abduction.

Would you try another book from Sharon Hamilton and/or J. D. Hart?

Yes, only because I bought two before listening to this book.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Accidental SEAL?

In the beginning the heroine of the story is tied up and fears that she is going to be raped. As soon as I realized that she was going to fall in love with this guy I questioned what type of reader the author is targeting. I would have definitely cut this scene and pushed the author to find another way for the characters to meet.

    Any additional comments?

I read romance to escape into another world and put myself in the place of the character. With this book I kept thinking how messed up anyone would have to be to fall for someone that she thought was going to rape her. I give it two stars only because of the narrator.
