Great accents. Whole family can listen. Family dynamics real, exciting events.
Fairly short story unlike the movie which added in a bunch of WW11 angst.

Interesting premise-the sneak peek got me to order it. Goes to a real creepy unsavory place.
Is really long, and eventually unsatisfying.

Hated it. First book should have been left to stand on its own.
    Won't read this writer again.

Three Junes is a vividly textured symphonic novel set on both sides of the Atlantic during three fateful summers in the lives of a Scottish family. Three Junes "almost threatens to burst with all the life it contains...extraordinary," says Michael Cunningham, author of The Hours.

The performance was fine. Nice accents, Scottish, French, New Yorkers.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is both a whimsical fantasy and a social satire chock-full of brilliant Twainisms. Hank Morgan, a nineteenth-century American---a Connecticut Yankee---by a stroke of fate is sent back into time to sixth-century England and ends up in Camelot and King Arthur's Court.

What would have made A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court better?

Idea seemed good but having a hard time getting into it. Maybe not a Mark Twain fan.
