I dunno - maybe - this was my first book by Morrell.
Childhood rivalries and adult retribution. The action was too over the top! Almost too far fetched.
This was not Dick Hill's best reading. Usually, he does a bang up job. And I've listened to many of his narratives...but this one was odd. His voice slurred often and the accents he tried were wrong. The female voices were "off". Maybe he was as bored with the story as I was.
Nope! Didn't much enjoy the characters....so I don't feel the need for a sequel.
No - probably not. The basic story was good, but it took far too long to get to the conclusion. Too much time was spent on describing clothing :-(
Mr Hill did a great job. Regardless of the length of the reading he never lost his momentum and he kept the characters separate and realistic.
The story line disintegrated into a porno/sex thing. I'm not fond of British mysteries to begin with and this story just didn't work for me.
Narrator was good enough for the story.
Got to the "yuck" part and just quit listening.
Just my opinion...but this story was a fail.
Not really. Took too long to get going...lost my interest quickly.
Outstanding story. It will draw you in. Makeyou think... And make you cry.
The book has many moments.
Story just seemed to keep repeating the same basic scenario over and over. Felt sorry for the dog living in such an environment. Supposedly the story was written from the dog's point of view. Wound up bored with the human's emotions and hang-ups.
Repetitive and no story line.
No problem with the reader
Disappointed and certainly won't purchase the next book in line.
Love the dogs
Well written - well read - gives you an up close and personal look at SAR dogs and their partners.
Puzzle, of course!
When she got sick and had to struggle so hard to keep going. Strong woman!
Highly recommend this read / listen
