What made the experience of listening to Taking a Shot the most enjoyable?

Very well written, but the exact same pattern as the previous two books in the series. From the first few moments, you can already predict the entire book. But it was good!

Would you consider the audio edition of Found in You to be better than the print version?

Had to listen to all books in series, back to back, which I normally don't do! But I couldn't wait to hear what happened next!! However I did feel that the story was a bit too long and dragged out quite a bit!

Which character – as performed by Carly Robins – was your favorite?

    Alayna Withers

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I just wanted to know....it was more of a feeling if extreme "good" anxiety!!

Maddie Chester is determined to leave her hometown of Gansett Island, a place that has brought her only bad memories and ugly rumors. Then she’s knocked off her bike on the way to her housekeeping job at McCarthy’s Resort Hotel by Gansett’s "favorite son", Mac McCarthy. He’s back in town to help his father with preparations to sell the family resort and has no intention of staying long. When Mac accidentally sends Maddie flying over the handlebars, badly injuring her, he moves in to nurse her back to health and help care for her young son.

Would you listen to Maid for Love again? Why?

No, I do not listen or read a story more than one time.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Mac. Although a little unrealistic...basically too good to be true...however I am reading a romance novel. Found it hard to find an ending spot each night...wanted to squeeze in just a little more!

Have you listened to any of Holly Fielding’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no, this was my first time with this author. Although other reviews were not very kind to her narration, I enjoyed her performance. She kept my attention!

Who was the most memorable character of Maid for Love and why?

Maddy was great...her story of who she was before meeting Mac was very realistic..I found myself quietly rooting for her!

    Any additional comments?

Finished this book in 2 days and immediately downloaded next book in the series!
