I always enjoy reading books but the way the "story" and advice was delivered ...it had to be in the author's own voice.
The fact that she drew from others but never sugar coated anything. I love self help books but this was one book where tough love was still love.
Never heard of her. I just loved the title and thought...Why not?
Sure! The way it was presented was in a conversational tone and stayed away from a lecture , the standard "I TOLD YOU SO!" type of delivery.
This came at a time where I needed a kick in the pants to get me moving again. I've been self employed for over 14 years now but I have entered a phase where i'm all in. The lord has led me to where I am at and I've been scared. I've never met the author (no had i ever heard of her) but I felt she was delivering the truth right to me. Not sure if she'd ever read the review but I'd love to thank her for her advice.
not a bad a book but take everything with a grain of salt. I will admit that I FREAKED OUT with some of the subject matter but a someone else brought me back down to earth. I did learn a bit here and there but I really think one should look at this as a resource book and not a book of absolute truths (like I first did).
