I'm a great Grisham fan, have all of his books and listen to some of them every few years. This one is certainly not my favorite but if you're a Grisham fan I would still recommend it. The story takes quite a while to get going and the fist half reads like a documentary not a legal thriller.
This is my first Reacher novel and I really did enjoy it.Dick Hill does a pretty good job at narrating. I use fiction audio books to help me pass the time while doing work i'd rather not be doing or while traveling and this is worth getting.
I am the greatest Grisham fan but i was dissapionted in this book. The begining is very slow which is normally ok for his books because the language is entertaining but it was difficult to get through the first half. The second half picks up but the ending was very dissapointing. I know he was tryting to prove a point but I bought this book for entertainment.
I was really looking forward to a good read about operation mincemeat but I was sorely dissapointed. There are a lot of characters in the book and it's sometimes hard to remembre who is who. The story line is not very interesting and if memory serves me correctly it was not completely historically accurate.
