In this magnificent biography, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of American Lion and Franklin and Winston brings vividly to life an extraordinary man and his remarkable times. Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power gives us Jefferson the politician and president, a great and complex human being forever engaged in the wars of his era. Philosophers think; politicians maneuver. Jefferson’s genius was that he was both and could do both, often simultaneously. Such is the art of power.

What made the experience of listening to Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power the most enjoyable?

The book is very well done. It's worth the listen

    Which scene was your favorite?

Jefferson's presidency is very interesting. Devisions that we had as a country long ago are still very real today. It's interesting how the two party system back in Jefferson's day (which many look at as a golden age) was just as polarized as things are today. It gives me hope that even though things seem really screwed up right now we've obviously been in much worse positions as a country. Jefferson was a political mastermind and really quite an amazing person that transcends time,

Tatooine - a harsh desert world where farmers toil in the heat of two suns while trying to protect themselves and their loved ones from the marauding Tusken Raiders. A backwater planet on the edge of civilized space. And an unlikely place to find a Jedi Master in hiding, or an orphaned infant boy on whose tiny shoulders rests the future of a galaxy.

Would you try another book from John Jackson Miller and/or Jonathan Davis?

Ehhhhhhh....... After this one I'm not sure

What was most disappointing about John Jackson Miller’s story?

He paints a great picture of how isolated Kenobi is, but the story is a real drag and doesn't really go where you expect it to. DULL DULL DULL

What three words best describe Jonathan Davis’s voice?

Has Kenobi down pat. Other voices are so so.....

Could you see Kenobi being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    Please god no!

    Any additional comments?

If you're interested in sharing Kenobi's pain and burden this is the book for you. It lacks the speed and depth of other Star Wars books. The story makes sense, but wow was it dull! I kept waiting for it to pick up and it never delivered. Painful is a goo word to desccribe my listening experience.
