what a wonderful book and Regina Brett could not have narrated it any better then she had. I felt like she was sitting in front of me as we chatted over coffee. It makes you want to listen to it over and take notes. So true to anyone's life that it will get you to tell your family and friends about it.......I DID! Loved It.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.

wonderful narration to go with this story line. An Audio hard to stop because you get caught up as if you were standing at the circus. Sad at times, but who knew what goes on behind the big top and after the circus is over. Circus life is anything but happy!

the voices that were meant to be the dogs were very annoying, i was not amused. the information is very general and more common sense then anything. good for a first time dog owner, but uninformative for a lifetime animal owner.
