I have enjoyed all the JA Jance books I've read, and this one was no exception. This is the first audiobook of hers I've listened to, and I found I was listening to it whenever I could. I wanted to know what happens. It wasn't until almost the end of the book that I guessed "who done it."
This was a great book. It was a moving story and I was sorry to see it end. I wanted to know how their lives evolved. I wondered how Jack adjusted to school and how his mom continued in her adjustment to life as a free woman. The narration was great and captured the emotions of the characters.
