New York Times best-selling and Edgar Award-winning author Lisa Scottoline revolutionized crime fiction when she introduced her all-female law firm of Rosato & Associates, thrilling listeners with her twisty, fast-paced plots and capturing their hearts with her cast of strong and relatable female characters. Now Bennie Rosato, Mary DiNunzio, Judy Carrier, and Anne Murphy are back with all cylinders firing in Accused.

    What disappointed you about Accused?

I never thought the story came together.

What was most disappointing about Lisa Scottoline’s story?

I've read all of the Rosato Associates books but this is the first one I've listened to. January LaVoy's interpretation of Mary's father's yelling, her mother's broken accent, Judy's little-girl voice set my teeth on edge. And it was such a chick book! I was hoping for a good lawyer story with a little personal relationship thrown in. If I ever decide to read another Rosato Associates book (uncertain at this time), it will be with my eyes.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of January LaVoy?

    Barbara Rosenblat.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I was very disappointed in the story.
