    What made the experience of listening to Conquest the most enjoyable?

    This romance crap was way too much of the story and it distracted from the main story. It seemed to be fluff so that 2 books could be stretched into three.
    The basic story line is solid and the first book introduction was stretched. Character development should void should have been filled with the idiotic round robin of romance interactions.

    It seems as if there should have been another book before this one to set the stage of why they are going back in time in the first place. Perhaps if I was not doing anything else but laying back and listening to the book it would be much better but it requires your undivided attention.

    It also reminds me of one of those romance books with the guys shirt conveniently ripped off showing his 3 hour a day gym visitations. Ohhh he is going to suck my blood and we will be ever more tied together. Give me a break.
