"Night Games"
This is one the strongest books in her Ghostwalker series. Flame is a consistently strong character who gives as good as she gets. The narrator had me worried with his heavily done cajun accent he does for the main male character,Gator, but either he tones it down or the ear gets use to it. The sex scenes were hot as usual and a little crazy.
"Good narrator makes a difference"
The narrator does make the audiobook and Ellen Archer is a perfect fit for this author's work. Really enjoyed listening to the diversity of characters (especially Portia) without being distracted from the story by horridly done accents that don't fit the character. If you've read the other two Brisbane and Grey mysteries, you will enjoy Silent on the Moor and await the next installment eagerly.
"Narrators accents detracts from listening pleasure"
I'm a huge fan on Christine Feehan's writing and snapped up this audible book and cancelled my amazon pre-order. However, I have to agree with another reader that the narration was dreadful. It was rather jolting to go from American accented narration to these really horrible dracula voices. The woman reader in particular was terrible at separating the voices of each female character because of the attempted accents. Just when I would get into the story, the bad accents would start up and I'd be destracted from the story by the accents. Read the book, skip the audio. Sorry, but don't let Christine hear this audio version, it might break her heart.
