The last thing Colin McDowell wants is to inherit his Aunt Geraldine's mansion in the San Juan islands off the coast of Washington. As the pack leader of the Trevelyans in Scotland, he has little time to travel halfway around the world to take care of his inheritance. But the trip takes a pleasant turn when he meets Luna Reynaud, the young secretary his aunt hired shortly before she died. He isn't sure which surprises him more - Luna's clever plan for turning the mansion into a resort, or the fact that she's drop-dead gorgeous.

Where does Werewolf in Seattle rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I like the whole series they are fun and easy to do chores to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like the family's coming to terms with difficulties and working to except each other.

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like the cultured city and animal woods that she jumps back and forth through.

    Any additional comments?

I was having a hard week when I bought this book and it put me in a much better mood. My whole family liked that! It was a great pick me up that I needed.

A storm. Rain-lashed city streets. A flash of lightning. A scruffy lad sees a girl leap desperately from a horse-drawn carriage in a vain attempt to escape her captors. Can the lad stand by and let her be caught again? Of course not, because he's...Dodger. Seventeen-year-old Dodger may be a street urchin, but he gleans a living from London's sewers, and he knows a jewel when he sees one. He's not about to let anything happen to the unknown girl - not even if her fate impacts the most powerful people in England.

Fun read, if you are tired of sci-fi, romance, or car chase mystery's, you might find this a fun little read. Charles Dickens is a newspaper writer who meets a young cove named Doger, a tosher who works the sewers of London.. who lives with an old Jew and prays to the Lady of the sewers or the Roman goddess Cloacina. Lots of history done in a fun way, more like history-ish...

Recent art school graduate Bekah thought she’d hit the jackpot: an unknown relative died, and she inherited a small fortune and a huge house in the mountains of North Carolina. Trey Howard, the lawyer who handled the estate, is a handsome man in his 20s and they hit it off right away - and soon become more than friends. Bekah expected a pleasant year to get her head together and have a romantic fling. Problem is, the house is full of junk...and siblings she didn’t know she had are willing to kill her for it.

Interesting story line, most of it was easy to follow, needed to re listen to a few parts to understand just what happened, but that was OK. I liked the people and I would read more about them. The sisters and trips were fun. I liked the solution to the problem at the end.

This was a fun book, there were many sad things that happen in this book. It is set in part in a war... so bad things will happen. The sad issues are not such that I became too upset. I am a huge boo hoo kind of girl, and I try to stay away from stories that make me cry. I felt all the people in this story had real reactions, and they all seemed like real people. Most I liked, some I had to grow to like. It was almost like 4 stories in one that are woven into one. Great book, uplifting human spirit type book.

In a ruined and toxic landscape, a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Sheriff Holston, who has unwaveringly upheld the silo’s rules for years, unexpectedly breaks the greatest taboo of all: He asks to go outside.

I got this because it was a daily deal.... and the movie trailer for a upcoming possible movie... I liked the story. It still haunts me. I both wanted to hug and choke people in this book. Yes, I was involved. Hate the name; but I do not know what else I would call it...I get the reason, but there is so much more.

Take one bored princess. Make her the seventh daughter in a very proper royal family. Have her run away. Add one powerful, fascinating, dangerous dragon. Princess Cimerone has never met anyone (or anything) like the dragon Kazul. But then, she's never met a witch, a jinn, a death-dealing talking bird or a stone prince either. Princess Cimerone ran away to find some excitement. She's found plenty.
