Yes, women (at any age) would find humor and various levels of connection to the author's thoughts, experiences and challenges as a woman with different roles in life...including try to love herself
When she watch herself years back on a video teaching yoga and thinking about all the negative body images she had at the time of the recording. Looking back now she explains how amazing the person she sees that looks beautiful and how silly she would be to think so negatively.
her meeting with the meditation teacher and discussing forgiveness. Cindi Lee gave her a face that I know so well when not wanting to easily forgive...just yet.
Her relationship with her husband. Mixed emotions about that for myself.
If you are a woman with endless body, diet, negative thought patterns about self AND/OR you are in a profession that represents the complete opposite, this book with bring humor, light and peace to the contradiction. I am glad I listened (and read) the book. Yes, I went back to actually read it!
The on the edge storyline that provokes mixed emotions from each chapter
The wedding dance
the ability to create a change in voice from each of the chapters dedicated from each characters view point that allowed me to see a different person narrating
it's already the perfect name!
excellent summer read...it's not so easy on the soft hearted though like me.
appropriate for someone studying southern lit
the lack of attention grabbing plot...too much babbling
the ending brought a nice bow to the storyline but not the point of forgiving the lack of storyline.
