    After listening to Harry Potter, it is hard for anyone to live up to Jim Dale, but this reader does not hold my attention. Aside from that, it is a good family book to listen to together if your kids really like books on tape like mine do.

    I LOVE the Mary Russell series, don't get me wrong! I have literally been waiting for this book to come out but I a seriously disappointed. One of the things that I love about these books is the interaction between Holmes and Russell. This is really lacking in this book. Read it if you must, but do not start the series with this book- you won't continue.

    I laughed so hard I cried several times when reading this book. I listened on the way to work and did not want to get out of the car in order to keep listening. The great thing about Tina Fey is that she is able to be absolutely hilarious without putting people down. Brilliant.
