"Better than expected!"
I loved every bit of this book, the story itself and the performance. I look forward to the next Amelia Peabody book. Elizabeth Peters did an awesome job of of painting a picture in my mind and Barbara Rosenblat was great with her narration.
"Couldn't put it down!"
I got so hooked on this book that I was hard pressed to put it down. I find myself wanting to learn more of the history presented in the book, want to learn more of the characters. The narrator was great! I plan on listening to this one again.
"Blown Away!"
I was totally blown away by this book. I'd no idea about any of this and to learn the story and the story behind the story was amazing. This is a definite recommend.
"I'm hooked!"
I've read 4 of the books in this series and I am so hooked!. Robert Petkoff does such a wonderful job on the narration that I find myself searching for more books he has done.
Travis McGee is quite a character and I can't wait to read the next book.
"Another Winner from Christine Feehan"
I enjoyed the book very much. I agree with others that the narrator sounded alike with all the characters but for me, it didn't take away from the story as he had a pleasing voice. I look forward to the next book in the series.
"Another winner!"
I loved this audio and can't wait for Book 2. Nora Roberts does it again with this trilogy. You won't be sorry with this one.
"How the series all began!"
The audio of this book was great. The narrator, John Keating does a terrific job of bringing the characters to life so that you can picture each one in your head.
I could not pick a favorite character because I enjoyed each one of them for different reasons. Each character in the book has their own quirks, their own personalities and I found that I laughed and cried with each.
John Keating does a great job with Fingal but I find that his performance as the
I was moved by Fingal's feelings towards his fellow man. Against all advice to stay distant from his patients, he didn't and they became people with names and faces.
I pray that Patrick Taylor writes more in this series and that John Keating narrates. The books are awesome and the reader is beyond compare. You won't be disappointed with this listen.
"Awesome!"
I couldn't stop listening. Another great chapter in the lives of Eve and Roarke. Susan Ericksen does the most wonderful job narrating and gives such life to the characters.
"Thoroughly Enjoyed!"
As one who comes from Rhode Island, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characterizations by the author. How true! I was thrilled the narrator got the RI accent down pat.
"Couldn't put it down!"
I couldn't put this book down once I started it. The narrator was very good and brought the characters to life for me. This book was well worth it.
