Very unexpected... I really enjoyed it, mostly because of the interesting characters. we got to know them in depth and and to love them (or hate them). The story line kept me interested, and although predictable at times I didn’t mind it because the dialogs were enjoyable. The narration was nice, although a bit too fast to my liking at first, but later i got used to it.
I am not a die hard fan of Sci-Fi or Stephen King, but this book did not have the feel of a wild imagination that takes you into a story that does not make sense.. this book was very enjoyable and makes you think about the "what ifs" and the dilemas of the possibilities of going back in time. I like that the story leaves you time and again with the question of "what would you do? "
The Narration by Craig Warsson was brilliant!
While it is not a literary masterpiece, it is a human masterpiece. A must read to every person who ever felt sorry for themselves. What a road to have traveled and emerge so strong and with so much courage to tell her story, in her own words and in her own voice. It is stories like this that make you believe in the human spirit and the strength of survival instincts.
