For 35 girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime: the opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth... to be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels... to live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon. But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her, and leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would most definitely recommend this book to another person. It is fun, exciting, and kept me on the edge my seat. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to be released.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Selection?

I don't want to give anything away, but there was a moment, right as the main character was finally falling for the Prince, when an inconvenient character appears and causes a complete twist in the plot line. This appearence happens suddenly, and the effects complicate the main characters life inextricably.

Which character ??? as performed by Amy Rubinate ??? was your favorite?

I have to say, i quite enjoyed the prince. Innitially, while the character is stiff in personallity, the narrator made the Prince's speech haulting. He sounded much like you would think he well-bred, privileged, and slightly stuck up individual to sound. Later, as the character became less formal, so did his speech and the way the narrator pronounced it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

"the prince's best hope, is a girl who can't make up her mind."

The watch Aunt Beatrice has given Bernard is no ordinary one it can stop time. He just needs to press the button at the top and everything stops - except for him. It's a neat trick when it comes to finishing homework in a hurry or skipping school to take a stroll into town, but it does more than that. Much, much more!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It is a fun and creative book that leaves the reader wondering what they would do with more time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bernard's Watch?

I specifically remember enjoying how polite Bernard was when he borrowed the bike off of a moving truck. The police officers confusion over the bike incident was very enjoyable.

Which character ??? as performed by Clifford Norgate ??? was your favorite?

Normaly my favorite characters are far from the leads, but I would have to say that I enjoyed Bernard's sense of humor a lot.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A magic stopwatch is a dream come true for both kids and criminals.

'I'm an only child.' Or so Kate Seton thinks until she discovers that she has a sister. Two years before Kate was born, her mother had left her first baby, Emma, in her pram outside a dress shop. When she came out, the baby was gone. Now, 12 years later, a girl appears on the Setons' doorstep with a note claiming that she is Emma. She has come home not the cuddly baby Kate has always wanted but a thin, spiky teenager with hard eyes. But is she Emma?

This book was very cute and not creepy like most of her other books. I've been hoping for years they'd get this author on audible, though I wish they'd expand the selection. Her children's books are well written and entertaining mysteries.
