Tavia has quickly become my favorite narrator! She brings such life and emotion to the story and you just get pulled in! This well written story paired with the best narrator is a good choice!
I love that Jeannine doesn't use the same tired boring story for each of her books (unlike some anthers). She has given Vlad his own unique tale to tell. She did her own research and based him on the real Vlad the impaler instead of using “Dracula” as her base. This book is a must read for fans of the Night Huntress world!
I am madly on love with this series! That being said I did not like the narrators AT ALL! Ed Westwick has a British accent...but none of the charters are British. Molly does every voice exactly the same!
i wasn't madly in love with this story, and I'm not rushing out to buy the entire series...but it wasn't completely horrid. the story line was iffy and the ending was not at all satisfying.
Tavia Gilbert and Jeaniene Frost together are heaven! Jeaniene writes the most amazing Charters and Tavia breaths life into them with her wonderful voice! I am in love with each and every book in the series!!
I found these books at a young age, in truth my mother was right to take them away and hide them...but from the first page I was in love. I am head over heel for Jamie Fraser! I used to stay up way past bed time, ducking under the covers with a flashlight to read this series so my mother couldn't try to hide them on me again! It was wonderful getting to know Jamie and Clair again...like having a LONG chat with old friends. I understand so much more than I did then...exploring the books in ways that my twelve year old mind couldn't comprehend back then. I recommend the Outlander series to every one who enjoys paranormal or historical romances!
The narrator's voice would be much better suited to children's books she sound to young to be reading the dirty scenes! For being so short and cheep it is an OK listen to pass the time when you are broke and board.
Tho not entirely historically accurate this series is thoroughly enjoyable and fun... I do wish they would find one narrator to do all of them instead of switching with each new book but still a good listen!
I really enjoyed the story but there are odd brakes in the narrative when the voice randomly changes...it pulls you right out of the story!
this was my first audio book... when I pressed play and sat in my living room listening I kinda felt like I was in kindergarten again and needed the teacher to read to me. As the story progressed and I got into the characters I was hooked. I have listened to this book countless times now on my i-pod. I listen while I'm walking to work or working out at the gym. While watching my kids pay at the park and waiting for them to get dome with what ever lesson they r at (dance, singing, piano, ext) I definitely recommend the whole series!
