Selling people new totem animals to solve their personality problems isn't a great way to make a living, but Sue doesn't complain until she gets a particularly annoying repeat customer. How many problems - and avatar animals - can one man possibly have?

If you could sum up The Perfect Totem in three words, what would they be?

    Insightful, Funny, Enjoyable

Who was your favorite character and why?

The girl, she responded realistically to the situations she encountered and I could relate to her.

    Which scene was your favorite?

In the backroom when she was looking for something different

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, being a short story it was perfectly suited for an afternoon coffee break before heading back to work.

    Any additional comments?

Great story, great narrator, definitely will recommend to my friends...

Martin Stillwater has a vivid imagination. It charms his loving wife, delights his two little daughters, and gives him all the inspiration he needs to write his highly successful mystery novels. But maybe Martin’s imagination is a bit too vivid.

If you could sum up Mr. Murder in three words, what would they be?

    Psychological sci-fi thriller

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mr. Murder?

Paige and Marty find themselves being doubted by a police officer, their anger intensifies to irrepressible laughter

    Which scene was your favorite?

When the girls chatter proves to be more than the villein can handle.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What if the bad guy didn't know he was a bad guy?

    Any additional comments?

Interesting plot left me suspicious of true nature of the story in the beginning. The clues finally accumulated to a point of sufficient knowledge, but the power of the characters kept me entranced through the entire book. I'd like a copy of the children's book.
