This Audio book is good, but I now want the reading version as there is so much detail that I want to reread it and have it for further study. The constant URLs were a bit annoying to have to listen to as well. Altogether this is a very well done account of proper planning, details and equipment for a TEOTWAWKI or SHTF scenario. A reader may not be able to do everything in this book to be ready but knowing this stuff will be more helpful than not even if you cant afford the cost $$$ of all the purchases needed to be this prepared. I read the Patriots as my first SHTF book and fell in love with it. This is a nice companion piece and (obviously) a how to!

This book and Randy's story is just "life changing" and very happy to have had the chance to listen to it! If I find out I am going to die, I hope to go out with as much love, class and bravery as this man does! WOW!

This book was long and slow at first and again at times I wondered if it was worth the purchase. By the ending I was happy with the overall book but wish it had a little more action in it for my tastes. A good read/listen and found the ending to be very interesting.

My first Audio book! I found this book enjoyable and eye opening to the events possible after an EMP. More to life without electricity than the roving man eating gangs LOL! Yes it drags on for a while in parts, but over all found it to be a worthy download.

I was weary of getting this in Audio book based upon a few of the comments, but found this to be a very entertaining book. The narrator did a very good job as well which made it very enjoyable as well. I would recommend this to someone looking for a fictional but not a realistic nor a fantasy account of a doomsday scenario. It got pretty close to fantasy with one character but I found myself chuckling at certain points with pure joy at what was happening. The characters were good and a nice variety, loved how it bounced around from character to character at the beginning and left you hanging between the changing story lines. Yes, as others post the ending is very abrupt but knowing that going in I accepted it and now I look forward to the follow up books.
