I really enjoyed listening to this program. It was as if I was on a spiritual retreat as I listened to Richard Rohr talk about the life of St. Francis and apply it to my life today. The insights offered transcended religion and dogma and addressed my real spiritual needs. For anyone trying to learn how to "Let go and let God," this is right on target.

I could never get through the Iliad in school! It was simply too thick with unique names and places and colorful description. But to listen to the story told was marvelous! This story was meant to be spoken. Thanks to Audible I finally have had the joy of experiencing Homer.

Listening to Garrison Keillor is always a treat. The story is a bit goofy--essentially an elongated version of "The news from Lake Wobegon." However, his story telling never gets old!

What a joy it was to listen to Maya Angelou narrate her story! The book is wonderful, and to have her narrate it made it amazing. I was sad when the book ended because I wanted to go on listening to her voice.

This is a great book, but I couldn't get into listening to it. I found myself drifting off to sleep or day dreaming. I think this was partly because the narrator's voice is rather depressing to listen to--flat, sad and dejected--although this very well may be the tone of the writer's voice and not the narrator's fault.

This is one of the most important books I have read in many years. The authors really seem to have a grasp on the issues that our society is facing and offer excellent insight into what needs to be done to get us back on track. I highly recommend this book for anyone who cares about where we are as a society, how we got there, and what we need to do.

The author offers a blend of neuroscience, economics, politics and psychology as he describes the direction that we as individuals and as a society need to be moving. There is a lot of good stuff in here!
