Could not stand Barbara Rosenblat's voice. She makes the character sound like an arrogant bitch. Alex Cooper is not believable. Too gifted and know it all. The charmed life is not necessary and detracts from the story.
No, just this author. I had collected all her books but am now selling them as I have no desire to read more.
Get a different reader.
Alex Cooper. I really like Mike. He is real.
The author appears to want to share his wealth of knowledge to the point of boredom. He goes on and on droning about Italy and it gets to the point where you just stop listening.
Something by Thomas Perry to get back to a good author.
Considering the content, he did OK
Almost all of it as the story line is lost in all the drone
Too much like the first 16. Nothing new or creative, just a rehash of the same old bumbling Stephanie with the same old Lula. No longer entertaining as you know either Morelli or Ranger is there to help. Characters have been worn out. Very disappointing as there was great potential when this series started.
The voice made Lula sound too stupid and not real. Same with Connie.
They're all the same except the bad guy and you can't cut him as he is the story this time.
Too predictable. It's like Evanovich has made a template and just plugs in new names.
If you like a love story that had dragged on far too long and doesn't come to any conclusion as well as many murders that also don't come to any conclusion, then you'll like this one. This was very disappointing as this series started out with great promise. There is nothing worse than no conclusions and leaving the reader just hanging. At the end you're left speechless thinking, where is the end.
Can't wait for Lee Child's new book. Odd Apocalyse is next as well as Faye Kellerman's new book
Both were excellent in reading their parts. Their voices are pleasing and don't detract in any way from the story. I think Dick Hill is the best narator I've heard but these are very close.
The only thing I can think of is the Mary Catherine left Michael. She would be smart to stay away.
Very hard to put this book down. Lizabeth is a very powerful character.
It has a darkness like Burke's character in Andrew Vachss's books but you also have an understanding as to where that comes from and why.
When Lizabeth took out the 2 motorcyle idiots at the cabim
My first reaction was
Lisabeth is a different kind of hero that you really learn to admire. It makes you think twice about labelling people to quickly and maybe missing out on knowing someone like her.
This was the worst of all the Myron Bolitar books as it was not believable to suddenly introduce an estranged brother after 9 other books. Also the reader was not near as good as Jonathan Marosz. This reader made everyone sound gay. Really dissappointed.
