This book was full of information and history of the American economy. Information that should be understood by every American today. This book goes into not just the history but also very useful "what to do" information to protect yourself from the economic disasters that are certain for our country. The author goes into more details about what to do than most of the other Rich Dad books.
Pretty basic financial advice. I found the behavioral psychology parts rather interesting. Learning why most people would rather sell a stock that has doubled vs one that has lost half its value could be very useful during a lifetime of investing and spending money. Certainly no entirely new concepts just a fresh perspective from a psychological point of view.
I stayed awake until 4 AM, I couldn't put this down. Narration was fantastic. I love how each episode ends with as a cliff hanger. All around, well worth the credits.
This was a pretty good book for reading about...well what was it really about? The book didn't have anything to do with personal finance. This book was more or less a collection of wise and ancient sayings about life, friends and death (Things other than finance). Some sayings were common and well known, many were new to me. It was an all together enjoyable read, even though for me, some parts were a little depressing. Good narration.
This is a great book to read while driving because the subject is so interesting. Even though I have read previous works by the author the ideas were presented in a fresh and new way. The narrator does a nice job of emphasizing certain words and topics and stressing main points. This is a must read for anyone who is a believer in Christ.
This was probably the most boring audiobook I've read all year. The book frequently jumps topics and subjects. It covers SOOO many different topics but has no stucture or chapters. The author's voice was a little annoying and takes some getting used to. There are a few good points to pick up in this book about sales and business. The suggestions made were very basic. Overall, this book was like being in a college class were the teacher frequently goes off on long, drawn out tangents. Didn't sound like a book, more like a guy just talking about random stuff.
Some of the suggestions made in the book were pretty good, but it was really just a description of how the author goes through the day and handles things such as stress, phone calls, paperwork, daily workouts, etc. I was waiting for more but, more never came.
This is an excellent book that will inspire you to get out there and start your own business. Much of the book is the authors personal story of how he started several businesses at a young age, but it also includes much worthwhile advice that he learned along the way that anyone can apply to their own startup. Very easy book to listen to, with inspiring and exciting stories. This book is worth the time it takes to listen. Although the author was pretty young, he appears to be very credible as an entrepreneur and qualified to give advice.
The books stories of great businesses and how they were started and run was awsome. This has many great ideas and inspiring thoughts mixed in it. This actually held my attention for about 6 hours at a time. The only negative thing about the audio is that the readers accent (I think its British) takes a little while to get used to. Glad I listened to this audio.
