Not based on this one - other of his books didn't seem to have such a simple story line

not really into the sound effects at the end of most chapters (too much like old AM radio) - I know his shortness of chapters but hated the announcing Chapter xx every 3 - 4 minutes

The winding of historic legend and current technology with wacked out greedy people combine for a great suspense read (listen in my case)

John Cory and his dedication to his friends

A bit too long for one sit but I was anxious to return when time permitted

Well it is a good book and well performed but I can't recomend because John Cory just pushes his luck way too far and it becomes silly.

As expected but too long in getting to the end

Scott is a consist and well known artist with top notch performance

Yes take a rest from listening to books

The book is well written but is a bit of a crazy person's disillusionment becoming a justification for the average adult not having a lack of an imagination.

Not my kind of movie

3 words? I won't cut it down that far. Great history events retold with an inventive reason why Abe did what he did. Unfortunately a bit of a slam on those southern gentlemen that were heros in the Civil War. You might have thought the author had a political axe to grind in a suttle way.

This was my first.

I found him to have a gift which is truly outstanding as a narrator. I understand why he is a movie voice.

No real surprises here as it seemed more like a TV movie with a pretty easy to follow what's next.

Although his books are abridged in audio they are on par with Brad Thor's characters and story lines. American Assassin was a bit to short for the full impact of character development but still ranks in a highly recomended list.

With Armand his vocal changes make each character as real as life. It is hard to say which I like better than another. Mitch Rapp is the hero as always, however he is a tad too perfect for his assignments which ranks him behind Brad's series hero.

Yes, it was a typical great story by Brad Thor and his twists are always a joy to unravel.

The realistic way his characters interact and the sad truth of how our goverment's political correctness costs the lives of our brave special forces men and women. When will we learn that you can't expect crazy people to act like we do??

He is the best narrator I have heard in the 40 some books I have listened to in the past year. Armand has a solid handle on shifting characters voices consisting on the fly - he is an exceptional actor.

The ending when Scott insisted the CIA keep his promises

If you like special forces action novels with lots of twists and turns this is a great series to follow. I began with some of Brad Thor's later books and was so impressed I had to go back to what started his primary character development and dig in.

The conclusion was more than a soft ending

Yes and I must say I look for things he has read as a must read. His talent of understanding the character and switching rapidly to their voice and speed of speech is remarkable. A very gifted actor. Brad would be nuts not to have him be the offical voice for all list books.

No crying but several smiles and a few damn that must hurt deep reactions.

I I have listened to 8 of Brad's books and will continue to download more when I have time

Yes, the story is similar but with the twist of female operatives and thus new characters

The interaction of the "man's comand" being pushed by women doing a job without the typical chain of comand

Good control of voices for specific characters makes it easy to know who is talking
