Two years after being released from Camp Green Lake, Armpit is home in Austin, Texas, trying to turn his life around. But it's hard when you have a record, and everyone expects the worst from you. The only person who believes in him is Ginny, his 10-year-old disabled neighbor. Together, they are learning to take small steps. And he seems to be on the right path, until X-Ray, a buddy from Camp Green Lake, comes up with a get-rich-quick scheme.

    Story
What made the experience of listening to Small Steps the most enjoyable?

It was about armpit who tried to fix his way about living after going to Camp Greenlake. I liked the way he tried to fix his way: small steps.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Small Steps?

Kaira and her Dad fighting in her room. Kaira dropping the lamp thing to signal Armpit.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

    Yes, it certanly did.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Armpit's learning to take small steps, but it's not easy doing that when everybody thinks you're bad. Will he suceed,or not?

    Any additional comments?

This story just draws me in. The story has hope, sadness and joy.
