I think I'm going to give up on this one. At first, I found the accent and the dialect interesting. But when I didn't realize that the first story had ended, I knew I was in trouble.
I admit, I listened to this one while I was painting a room in my house. Since it's written in first person, it was like having Ben in the room with me while I was working. I chose this book since I knew I was going to see the Ben Franklin exhibit at the Atlanta History Center, and the exhibit mirros much of the book. What an open thinker he was!
I listened to this book while I was painting furniture. Hours would fly by as I listened and it kept my attention. I thought it was funny, interesting, and a good single girl's book. Enjoy!
I love that this is read by Carly herself. I like the personal background that goes along with the business life she led. I thought it was informational, inspiring, and touching. Interesting reading.
