Ship hurtles through space. Deep within its core it carries the seed of humankind. Launched by the people of a dying Earth over a century ago, its mission is to find a habitable world for the children - 15-year-old Zoheret and her shipmates - whom it has created from its genetic banks. To Zoheret and her shipmates, Ship has been mother, father, and loving teacher, preparing them for their biggest challenge: to survive on their own, on an uninhabited planet, without Ship’s protection. Now that day is almost upon them, but are they ready?

    Story

Parts of this book reminded me of the Hunger Games, like when they have a contest to see which team can make it through the Hollow which is a wilderness earth like part of the ship they are on.
I liked the part best when they go out and live in the Hollow on there own in preparation for them to live on the planet they are headed for.
What I didn't like it that they could have sex without consequences, although their aren't any sex scenes.

All in all it was a good book and I felt the Narrator was a perfect pick for the main charter's voice.

What did you love best about Iron's Prophecy?

I loved it and am looking forward to the next book. She brought back Puk and Ash.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Razer, a small gremlin who is a pet of of the prince. He is a bundle of fun and loves sheep. I love it when he says "Bad Kitty!"

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way he does the voices. And Razer "Bad kitty!" again loved it.

    Any additional comments?

I didn't read the book before this one so I had no idea that that the lead charters were related. It made the story more interesting as I tried to figure out who Kerin was..

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The story is good, but the performance, well... Since it is about a girl, I would have enjoyed the performance better if a woman read this story. I felt the reader rushed through the book so I found it hard to relax and listen. If I was listening to this while I was running instead of to relax after work maybe I would have liked the performance better..

In the fall of 1984, high school students Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole fell deeply, irrevocably in love. Though they were from opposite sides of the tracks, their love for one another seemed to defy the realities of life in the small town of Oriental, North Carolina. But as the summer of their senior year came to a close, unforeseen events would tear the young couple apart, setting them on radically divergent paths.

The story was excellent and held my attention to the very end. I would have liked a happier ending, it is a very good read, and worth the money.

"My name is Megan Chase. In less than 24 hours, I'll be 17. Although, technically, I won't actually be turning 17. I've been in the Nevernever too long. When you're in Faery, you don't age. So while a year has passed in the real world, agewise I'm probably only a few days older than when I went in. In real life, I've changed so much I don't even recognize myself."

I LOVE this book the best out of the three. I can't wait for the next book to see what Puck and Ash come up with.
