Great ghost story, one in a series. It has great continuity & wonderful characters. Somewhere in the book the writer kinda lost the original characters individuality, not a lot but enough to make me go hmmmm. But still a great book.

This book was so good I listened to it twice! The characters, the flow, the beautiful flow of the story really pulled me in. A time forgotten, ladies were ladies and men were gentleman, mix that with a little violence & mystery....success!!

This was a beautifully written, expertly read book. I have NEVER loved a books characters so much nor have I enjoyed ALL of a books narration. This book is poetry, it's fun, it's heart felt and heart breaking. All 3 books were wonderful but this one holds a place in my heart forever. Loved it!!!

The family magic seems to have skipped over Tammy Jo Trask. All she gets are a few untimely visits from long-dead, smart-mouthed family ghost Edie. But when her locket-an heirloom that happens to hold Edie's soul-is stolen in the midst of a town-wide crime spree, it's time for Tammy to find her inner witch.

If it were not for the occasional disappearance of the main characters southern accent this book would be perfect. I am a southerner and it was a bit over done. With that said the story was really good & I especially loved the cat. It was easy to follow and the reader did a great job with different characters.

My name is Amelia Gray. They call me The Graveyard Queen. I've been commissioned to restore an old cemetery in Asher Falls, South Carolina, but I'm coming to think I have another purpose here. Why is there a cemetery at the bottom of Bell Lake? Why am I drawn time and again to a hidden grave I've discovered in the woods? Something is eating away at the soul of this town - this withering kingdom - and it will only be restored if I can uncover the truth.

When I started this series I was looking for a haunted house type thing. It's one of the first haunted person type story I've ever read. After getting over that other than seeing ghosts is the only supernatural thing in this story I loved it. Great story, awesome reader! I loved every second of it.

My name is Amelia Gray. I'm a cemetery restorer who sees ghosts. In order to protect myself from the parasitic nature of the dead, I've always held fast to these rules passed down from my father…until now. Detective John Devlin needs my help to find a killer, but he is haunted by ghosts who shadow his every move. To warn him would be to invite them into my life. I've vowed to keep my distance, but the pull of his magnetism grows ever stronger even as the headstone symbols lead me closer to truth and to the gossamer veil that separates this world from the next.

You never look at grave yards the same ever again. This story makes you believe that it's possible that maybe there are people who talk to the dead. It would be nice to say a few things to a few of my deceased lol. I loved the reader, the story was great and the dead were awesome. While I suppose it's not meant to be scary exactly it does make you look over your shoulder a bit. House sounds, darkness & coincidences suddenly begin to mean a little bit more. Very good book.

This was a pretty good read. It was however, very rated R! I didn't love the narrator but after awhile I got used to it. The ending was not predictable and I appreciate that very much. The hauntings are very graphic and decently scary.the story is a bit wordy but a great listen.

The Perry family's new house is perfect - except for the weird behavior of the neighbors, and that odd smell coming from a dark corner in the basement. Pity no one warned the family about the house. Now it's too late. Because the darkness at the bottom of the basement stairs is rising.

This book was very good. I do think it would have been just as good if not better if the sexual scenes weren't the most detailed things through out the whole book. Despite that, it was a great haunted house story. As for the narrator, decent for what he had to read. If language & sexual content is very rated R so listening out loud is a bad idea. Otherwise great!

I listen to every kind of book possible. This one was just for fun. I wasn't let down. It was a fun, witty listen that takes your mind off of everyday stuff. Life drives me to lose myself in a book as often as I can! I loved the story, the characters and the narrator was great. I never had to wonder who was talking as each voice for the characters was perfect. A fun way to pass a few boring hours driving, working or whatever.
