"Couldn't put it down!"
This was such a good story. The fact that is true made it even better. I had read a review of the book in a recent Newsweek magazine so I knew Homer had survived in an apartment near Ground Zero on 9/11 but to hear the story of it just made my heart go out to everyone who personally went through that day as it happened in New York. I don't believe you have to be a cat lover to throughly enjoy this book. Gwen Cooper is a very good writer!
"Loved it!!"
I haven't seen the movie but I was interested in the subject. Once I started listening to it I was living the characters in my life. I know people like Amanda Priestly and they would never see themselves in this character. At one point I listened to the story four hours straight and I was exhausted after living with Andrea as she answered every beck and call of Amanda. I highly recommend this book. It's very well written and very well read,
"Couldn't put it down"
Once I got into this book and realized the depth that was going into each of the main characters I couldn't stop listening to it. I loved it and it will stay with me for a long time. The reader was so amazing because I heard so many different voices and accents.
"Loved it!"
I have to admit I had already read the hardcopy and I wanted to have it read to me. I feel the story was easier to follow as an audio book because you always knew who was speaking because of who was reading. I got another level of understanding by listening to it.
"Wonderful story"
I liked this book much more than I was expecting. The story was very well developed and all the pieces were brought together in the end. The readers voice was wonderful as the voice of the young woman and I really felt like I got in her head through her thoughts.
