Excellent historic with very little fiction. Full of surprises and a unique view of a well publicised disaster.
The change in pronunciation by the reader is ridiculous and distracting. If you are reading one book in a series you should have listened to the previous books !!!!!
The change in readers here was a HUGE error!! I would suggest that previous books in a serious are REQUIRED LISTENING for a new reader in a series. The changes in pronunciation of names and places are distracting and ridiculous!
Unfortunately also the weakest story in the series but still good.
The Queens part makes it worth the read
Not a bad reader.. in fact but the performance poor.
If you want a book that takes you away from your own life and makes you live someone else's experience this is a great one.
Great ride; never dull!! Well read. Drags on a little at the end but this is my only complaint. Well worth reading.
Usually a fan of historic fiction, I read this because of its Audible rating and it truly is worth the 5 stars. Intriguing story that pulls you in quickly with wonderful readers.
The perspective of this novel is fascinating. It contains an encyclopedia of information woven together well. Little cumbersome at times but definately worth the trouble.
Very good example of enjoyable historic fiction
Shorter than most in the series. A quick read. Good with background into focal character. More story than multiples
