I really enjoyed this book, it's a great narrative of Spanish/Puerto Rican history told from the unlikely perspective of a woman pioneer.
I really enjoyed this book. It took two unrelated subjects, flowers and foster children, and married them beautifully into a unique and touching story.
Carl Hiassen doesn't disappoint. HIs books are humorous adventures set in South Florida, how can that ever be bad?
This book reminded me so closely of my own experience taking my daughter to college. Very genuine and honest - I found myself getting teary eyed at the similarities.
I'm never disappointed by this author, and this is no exception. Great story, I couldn't stop listening!
