really good story
When the lead character has to decide if the safety of his family is greater than keeping his integrity.
Randy Singer does it again. Great read and wonderful story to hear.
Yes because in the print version you do not get to hear the raw emotions Jaycee puts into the reading.
When the ants came into her shed.
Her personal tragedy and triumph. You get to hear the changes in her voice that this tragedy is not all that her life is about. there is so much more to this young women!
No, I work with abused children every day and while this book caught me off guard with the abuse Jaycee suffered prior to the kidnapping, the abuse suffered at the hands of this man and his wife was not jaw dropping for me.
My sincerest thanks for the author for being so open in her retelling of this awful event in her life. NO ONE should ever have to suffer from the mental abuse when a parent takes a new partner. My heart breaks for the failures Jaycee endured from the legal system and it's inability to properly manage this abuser. That said Congratulations to Jaycee for overcoming the odds and adjusting to a world so different from all that you knew. Stay in counseling as you have issues you are not done with and may God Bless you and your girls. To the public, this book was definitely a part of Jaycee's recovery efforts and will open your eyes to a deviant mind of which there are many in our world.
The way it kept you holding on to the end
When the heroine Caroline disappears
About the same
What would you do for family?
Thanks Dee Henderson for another great story!
Personal, intense, real!
When KYLE traded places with the Justin and then Justin was shot.
The vocal inflections and the voice of Taya. I would have made her stronger.
Chris Kyles intense acknowledgement of his christianity. With all the F words punctuating the rest of this story he proudly demonstrated how much his life depended on this faith.
The language is a barrior, I was listening to this while working! However if you can stomache the word, it is a true to life story of a real american hero, husband and father. Thanks Chris for a great book, may your family be sustained here on earth until you meet again in heaven!
Yes, I have listened to it twice already and enjoyed the storyline.
The Judge himself. Old, crotchety, reminds me of some local judiciary!
