Who knew Tess Gerritsen could write romance! This is definitely not one of her typical high suspense murder thrillers, but I thought it was a good mix of light romance, a little suspense and a murder mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one.

This is probably one of the best audiobooks I've listened to. I couldn't stop listening. Just a simply amazing story about a fearless soldier but loving, compassionate family man. The narration was perfect as well.

Though Jack is a bodyguard, Morgan feels anything but safe in his presence. Because slowly and seductively, Jack is bringing her deepest fantasies to the surface. And when he bends her to his will, what's more shocking than her surrender is how much she enjoys it and how she starts to crave his masterful touch.

The majority of this book is internal dialogue, angst, confusion, etc., etc. There is steaminess thrown in as well, but I found myself wanting to fast forward through all the worrying and get to some story.

Homicidal is the story of the almost 25-year serial-murder crime spree of Lonnie Franklin Jr., who is alleged to have killed at least 10 women in Los Angeles, if not more. Nicknamed by the media the Grim Sleeper, because there appeared to be a 13-year lull in the killings, Franklin met most of the women through random encounters that ended in murder. Significant blunders by the Los Angeles Police Department helped Franklin avoid arrest for years.

Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy’s athletic prowess, Carolyn is gaining an - um - intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed "dating hiatus," and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor.

I can see how this would be a funny, entertaining story and I did chuckle a few times, but the narrator just ruined it for me. I had a hard time connecting her voice to the main character. She sounded like a middle-aged smoker?? I think I would have liked this book more if I had read it.

This was an all right book, but I struggled to stick with it. By the end I was just ready for it to be over. I found myself looking in my library while listening to the ending to see what I could start next. Really nothing surprising or engaging and not much romance either.

Jane Darlington is a genius at physics, but there's one problem she can't solve. She yearns for a child, but wants to spare it the pain of growing up as...well, a nerd. And surely any child of Jane's would be a little too brainy for the playground set. So she sets out to find a special man to father her child, someone without too much gray-matter between his ears: in short, a big, strong dope. Cal Bonner, legendary pro quarterback, seems to fit the bill. But there's something Dr. Jane hasn't counted on.
