Don't you love to talk to people that are experts in their field and passionate about it without being arrogant? Doreen writes as a person in love with what she does and with a burning desire to share her knowledge with the world. This book has practical application, is easy to understand, and a joyful journey.

A wonderful book that expresses the teachings of the Buddha in a way that us mere mortals can understand. The book uses 'today's language' it is not full of terms that are foreign that can belittle the reader unlike a number of books about Buddha that I have read. The meditation examples are also excellent and have been a real help for me. The speed is great, the narration is excellent, I couldn't recomment the experience highly enough.

I love the way Gregg thinks. He is way outside the box. Gregg is converging science with religion with spirituality with cosmology with ancient philosophy and defining core truths. Gregg does this in a completely non-judgemental way.
The material can get a bit dry as Gregg goes into too much detail but at least you are not left wondering what he is talking about.

I have just read his book "The Isaiah Effect" it is brilliant.

I will be looking to hear / read more of Gregg's work as it has helped me enourmously in answering my questions about "life, the universe & everything".

The problem I have with all the Abraham based religions is that each of them needs to be right and everybody else needs to be wrong. Why can't we all be right if our beliefs are based on love and serving others. The wonderful imagery of God along makes this book worth a read.

Firstly, Johnny Cash is a wonderful narrator.
This book is similar in structure to "The Prophet". The author gives us a unique view of his feelings about specific topics. I find myself quoting him. eg Comfort - it enters the house a guest, soon becomes the host, and then the master..... very hard hitting stuff. This is a beautiful listen that you will revisit over and over again.

I am a Christian. I have been all my life. Why do I struggle so hard to live by Jesus's word? Jesus said "Remove the log from your own eye before you remove the splinter from your neighbours". At last a guide to help me remove the log from my eye. A must for any person that seeks the truth and for any Christian who seeks real answers not rhetric.

This needs to be listened to many times as you will hear something new with every listen. Almost allows you to step out of life and be an observer. Very powerful, very thought provoking, very beautiful.

For anybody interested in seeking the truth this recording is just wonderful. With a brief narration of 50 spiritual books it has really helped as some of my deepest beliefs aren't foolish, they are shared by others who have written books. I have purchase 3 of the 50 books since listening to this tape. Also, if you are a "cut to the chase" kind of person then this will blow you away.

This book has been my constant driving companion for 3 weeks. I have enjoyed peak hour traffic jams. I have learnt alot about Christianity (all positive) and Hindu understandings. Some parts of the bible are explained so beautifully. This book is a love story, a love of the creator for the created. God continues to love us unconditionally. He sure is a sucker for punishment.

A very abridged version of the wonderful book "The Power of Now". This book talks only of the "Gateways to Now" which is great if you have read the book "The Power of Now", if you haven't then this summary may lack context. It is practical & will provide ideas it just feels a little like a "shag on a rock". If you have read "The Power of Now" then this is a great refresher.
