"Excellent for Those Just Starting Out"
An excellent review of how to run your financial life during your first 10 or 15 years working, or for anyone who still needs to get their financial life in order. Teaches basic methods for managing credit cards, debt, bank accounts, and investments.
Well read by the author and generally entertaining.
The author is a strong proponent of life-cycle funds, and index funds. Like anything else, get a second opinion and don't let anyone else tell you how to think.
"Intellectual and Entertaining"
Classic Hitchens - well written and highly cerebral. The book has a few dull or repetitive moments but in general is a great listen. As the title states, the book is aimed at young people, especially those who want to think for themselves and draw unpopular conclusions.
"High-Speed Summary of Business Topics"
This book is filled with quick summaries of various business topics and offers a fast overview of many popular subjects.
Well narrated by the author with good audio quality.
"Not what I expected"
The audio version is very well performed and the story works well in audio format.
The narration is clear and spoken in a natural voice
I was expecting a lot more information about minimalist (no shoes) running: physiology, anatomy, injury statistics, etc. As the book's cover says, this is a story about atheletes and a race. It was less inspiring than I expected and I got bored of the drawn-out story. However, many of my friends recommend this book highly.
"Good Book for the Brainy"
If you like "intellectual" books, you'll probably love this. It's a great book for anyone interested in ancient cultures, European history, the Catholic Church, and old books. The writing is good, the narrator is good, and the story is interesting.
