I am a person that tries and get through 1 book a week if possible. I am Dyslexic so this is really the only way I can get through a book. I have listened to more book in a year than I read my first 20 years of my life. I found the joy of audio books in the early 2000 and have been a audible customer since 2000 or 2001. I have over 490 books in 2 different accounts and listened to 90%.

Fans of the Shannara epic will revel as the forces of good battle an evil book, the Ildatch, which sends the Mord Wraiths to destroy mankind. To overcome this dark force, the Druid Allanon needs Brin Ohmsford, for she holds the power of the wishsong, a magic invoked by singing that can make plants bloom instantly or turn trees from green to autumn gold.

What other book might you compare The Wishsong of Shannara to and why?

I see bits and pieces of a lot of different books in this one. Pern, Eragon, LOR, Hobbit, and etc..., Really thought he did a nice job of putting all the races on the same playing field.

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

Scott is a natural and always look at what he has done recently. I know if he is reading it I will listen to it. Might not always be the best story line but he can make a bad story line better.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The power of a love between a brother and sister.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Haymitch never giving up on her or Peter. Even at the end where they went back to District 12.

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

Where does The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The millennium series is on of the top. I have been through a lot of books and I find myself wanting to to try and finish is faster and faster than just the casual listen I do in my car.

What other book might you compare The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to and why?

It is hard to compare to other books, just because this is my first international book series I have listened too. It throws you of a bit but the book keeps you on the edge of your seat.

What about Simon Vance’s performance did you like?

Outstanding I have found another great reader I can listen too.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I have watched the films but the book is 10x better
