  • Deconverted: A Journey from Religion to Reason

Assertions like these seem comical until you realize that many Christian parents aren't kidding when they teach them to their children as facts. Every day, impressionable young minds are conditioned to blindly accept wild biblical tales of floating zoos, talking shrubbery, 900-year-old humans, the undead, curses, levitation, demon/human hybrids and men who obtain super-human strength from the length of their hair. Allegiance to these teachings is expected, often demanded.

Seth has a gift. He is a wonder narrator and brings an engaging, interesting, thought provoking audio book for the world to read. This book, although only four ish hours long, (I didn't want it to end).. is very informative and perfectly balanced, easy to listen too, and brings to light how The Thinking Atheist came to be. Religious people take heed: The internet is the new god. Your beliefs are eventually too fade, and science will, eventually, take over as the truth that it is. Seth Andrews is going to help change the world.

  • Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power

Rachel Maddow's Drift argues that we've drifted away from America's original ideals and become a nation weirdly at peace with perpetual war, with all the financial and human costs that entails. Sensible yet provocative, dead serious yet seriously funny, Drift will reinvigorate a "loud and jangly" political debate about how, when, and where to apply America's strength and power - and who gets to make those decisions.

Fantastic! Rachel Maddow is a wonderful narrator, (I never watched her show but am going to start now). An insiders look at recent military history, coverups, insider politics, military blunders, private contractors, and the US nuclear weapon arsonal. Literally listened to it in one day. Couldn't "put it down". Thanks for a great , eye opening book Rachel.

A superb high quality hypnosis program by Glenn Harrold that utilizes skilled Hypnotherapy techniques to help guide the listener in to a deep relaxing sleep. The audio also helps the listener find solutions to any problems through your dreams.

I suppose perhaps this kind of thing helps some people go to sleep, perhaps the same kind of people that can be "hypnotized" on stage at the state fair too. A MUCH better book to put you to sleep is "Atlas Shrugged"., that's what I'm using now, plus it's 60 hours long.

From the larger, louder half of the world-famous magic duo Penn & Teller comes a scathingly funny reinterpretation of The Ten Commandments. They are The Penn Commandments, and they reveal one outrageous and opinionated atheist’s experience in the world.

This was my first book I download with my new "Audible.com" account. I watch Penn on Youtube all the time, and I figured I could do the right thing and buy his book finally. I was SOOOOO excited that it was done in Penn's voice. That made this such a great experiance. I greatly enjoyed this book. It actually isn't all about religion, but it is filled with fantastic stories from Penn's life, told from his perspective religously, politically, morally, ect... Being in his voice was a sure plus.. I am forever a fan and an atheist for life. In fact, I just told my wife our next trip is going to be at the Rio to see his show. I can't wait! Thanks Penn!
