I admit I'm going through a phase right now. I want to read/listen to books about corporate alpha males and the reluctant heroin...that isn't this book. The erotic scenes were okay, but to he honest they lacked some intensity for supposedly being a Dom/Sub thing, even 50 shades was more dramatic. This book also lacked intensity where the plot was concerned and even the big reveal that was eluded to multiple times was just a let down. I compare it to my friend saying she cheated on her diet and giving this big hype and then she reveals she had a life saver...when I'm thinking she had a five course meal!

This is a story about a Dom/sub relationship that went wrong and two years later they see each other...she runs, he chases. In true alpha make style he manipulates the circumstances so she has to talk to him...for various reasons they hash out their misunderstandings and he offers to train her to accept her submissive side, and the story progresses from there complete with predictable things and a villain that had some real potential but they author never took it anywhere, very sad.

Overall this book was okay if you just want to hear about people screwing. I would not recommend this book for anyone who liked 50, or bared to you, or release me, beautiful disaster, or basically any intense book, there is NO intensity in this book....and some people are looking for that too, so if you are then here you go, if not move on!

I wish this story was a bit longer, or that it had more meat but it did check many of my boxes. A very strong leading lady who is a yoga teacher, but don't think for a minute she is flaky. A strong domineering male lead, but don't think for a minute he is so set in his ways a good woman can't change him.

I liked that all the characters remained true to form. They didn't change who they were in chapter one to further the story. While there was some miscommunication between the H and h I don't think it was unreasonable or off the wall drama for the sake of drama.

Good steam scenes, really liked the narrator, all in all maybe a credit or a sale but not a buy, it was just too short.

If your kid plays/ed a travel sport, particularly baseball, just click add to cart!!! This book made me laugh, smile, and just left me feeling lighter somehow.

This book is about the relationship between a mother and son and their introduction to travel baseball at age 9. There were no steamy scenes but there were several romances going on that had you rooting for some couples and cringing at others, and all the while there was a 9 year olds journey into Travel Baseball, and a mother’s journey about watching her son grow up.

Sam was so happy to be invited to play Travel Baseball with a REAL summer team, but the experience wasn't exactly what he thought it would be. His mother, Shannon, has her own problems with Travel Ball, culture shock doesn't exactly cover it. As she battles to not turn into one of THOSE parents...the parents that are rooting for a 10 year old to drop the ball, or engaging in brawls in the stands about a little kids ball game; she is faced with her ex husbands antics, his new hot (and barely legal) girlfriend, her own attraction to an opposing teams coach, former friends turning on her, learning what snack-shack time was...and all this before the first tournament!?!?!?!?

This story was great! I laughed at all the real life people it reminded me of (why exactly do parents feel the need to facebook status every move their kids make?) But I also really enjoyed the way it made me remember my sons first few years in travel ball. I sincerely hope there is a sequel!!! *hint hint*

Great for sale, credit or *gasp* PURCHASE (yeah I liked it that much folks!)

Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may or may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane onto the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow -- alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.

I usually really enjoy Molly Harper...but this one fell a bit flat. There was more relationship angst in this one than I am use to and I think it just fell flat for that reason. Rather than new and exciting mayhem disasters we pretty much just had more of the same, although the varicose vein scene was FUNNY! Overall good addition to the series but I think I will wait on getting book 4 for a while, I think I need a break.

Amanda's narration was awesome as usual!

I adore Molly Harper books, love Amanda Ronconi's narration but this one let me down. It was under 6 hours, so super short, and while there were amusing moments the over all plot was weak. I feel it could have been continued and I would have been able to give it a higher rating but with just this little taste, well, I was disappointed.

Maybe buy it for $4.95, but don't use a credit or buy it.

I adore books like this! You have kink, you have hot scenes and they are expected due to the kink, you have characters STAYING IN CHARACTER...been a big glitch of mine lately where characters just up and poof they aren't themselves anymore. You have to believe in love/lust at first site though to find this book plausible but man I wish Audible had more!

Dimitri is in the Russian Mob, but he is on vacation in America to attend the Submissive's Wish Auction. He doesn't go to bid, but his friends do and low and behold there is the most amazing woman he has ever seen! She is tough, but kind, hard core, with a gentle side...she is a switch; Dominant over women, submissive to men...well the right kind of man *wink-wink*

The love story was amazing, the hot scenes were awesome, and I want to hear more from this world...please everyone buy/credit this book so Audible will get more of them or I am going to be forced to *gulp* READ the new ones *gulp* Please don't make me read! PLEASE!

Once again, narrator has a spanish accent so that was just weird, but his inflections were good so I'd be willing to listen to him again.

This book had some great stories in it, but they are hot button issues for many readers and since this is part 1 I can't see how this is all going to work out yet. Those issues would be:
    1. Male Submissives, which was kind of hot!
    2. PTSD, these characters did time in Iraq and they are vivid about retelling their stories and the author portrays flashbacks and PTSD episodes very well....scarily well! If you have experienced PTSD, especially from the Military stand point might want to skip this book.
    3. Suicide due to PTSD
    4. Drinking to dull the pain
    5. Loosing a loved one due to random gang violence in a suburb
    6. Finding a new relationship after your fiance dies

I think that covers all the major issues people might have...generally I don't tell so much about a book but if it involves a true hot button for people I'd rather they know in advance.

I liked the book, really liked how the author built up the story and have already listened to 2 of her other books, she is really great and I plan to listen to them all!

And by her recent standards, things are actually looking up. Lycanthropes don't faze Anna. Doctoring a wolf pack outside Grundy, Alaska, is the closest thing to home life she's known in years. But hitching a ride to Anchorage with long-absent pack member Caleb Graham - that's a risk. Part of her itches to whack his nose with a newspaper. The rest is trying unsuccessfully to keep her own paws off every delicious inch of him.

When you are getting frustrated with contrived drama and insta-love that all just magically works out go find a Molly Harper book!

Her leading ladies always find themselves in a mess and all by simply trying to do the right thing....sure our leading lady is on the run from her abusive husband but she has been trained as a doctor she can't just leave the recently shot man in the parking lot...which pretty much caused her car to explode, which left her taking his truck, which lead to her discovering that he might just be a werewolf...which led to hilarity!

Had to give in a 4 star story because it wasn't up there with her other books but it was still a darn good pallet cleanser when I was tired of reading about everyone's drama filled angst.

Amanda is always a wonderful narrator!

What a yummy book! Our leading lady Gia is a normal American girl, she has a job, worked hard to earn her degree, and she comes from the poor side of town but she has made a life for herself. She has decided to take a week off from work to be auctioned off in a Submissive Auction, all of the Dom's are pre-screened and the money goes to her favorite charity while she gets her wishes fulfilled....it's a win win.

Ivan is a visiting Dom from Russia, part of the European delegation, and he wants Gia. He has never allowed himself to become attached to a sub, too much work in that and besides he has been busy building his empire in Russia...but one look at her and he had to have her at any cost.

The scenes were hot, not too much drama, just a great story about trying to find a true connection in an unusual circumstance.

The Narrator was annoying, at least for me. He had the right passion and you could tell who was male and female but his inflections were WAY off because he had an accent, and he didn't know how to pronounce some words. It was annoying to listen to (what I began to think of) Antonio Banderas speaking as an American who wasn't spanish speaking and a russian who has a totally different accent. I got past it and it was a great book, but I was sad to see that book two has the same narrator.

Still, worthy of a try if you want to listen to a D/s relationship with several kinks!

I did it, I broke down and actually *gulp* purchased these three books...darn mini series that actually just makes one complete book. After reading book 2 in the series, The Master, I was intrigued by this book which the highlights were given in book 2.

It was interesting how Natalie was just a normal college student looking for her birth parents, she knew she was adopted so now that she was older she wanted to know where she came from. All she knew was that she was from an orphanage in Russia...so she started there. She has been on the search for 6 years, working multiple jobs to pay for this obsession and just hoping to find her parents, and some answers.

Alexia the Siberian has been sent to watch over the small woman who is his bosses biological daughter, his Mafia Boss...she is perfect...she is amazing...she is forbidden...and she doesn't know he exists....when he is alerted that two cruel enemy men have been dispatched to find her and kill her his time is up he must make his presence known. Finding out that you are a Russian Mafia Princess in hard, finding out that there are killers after you and you need to leave Nebraska is harder, but fighting the attraction for one scary gorgeous Mafia Protector could be her undoing...and so the story of Natalie and Alexia begins!

Narrator was very good, I did have some problems with the end of the story but book 2 makes up for it in a BIG way!

I recommend waiting for a sale to get all 3, too cheap to use credits and I didn't appreciate having to pay basically full price for a book because it was in 3 parts, but I will be downloading the third book as soon as it is available, whenever that is!
